We may not have been the official bank of the entire league, but thanks to our naming rights to their home stadium, SoFi is the official bank of both the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers. As part of the SoFi social pod, I was tasked with creating on-the-ground content during the season that bridges the gap between football and finance. Alongside social content, I’ve crafted broadcast spots with our NFL spokesperson, Justin Herbert. The work has led to SoFi being the #1 most engaging NFL campaign in the category for the full ‘25/’26 season and gaining a 106% raise in search engagement, maximizing our dollar-for-dollar spend.

It’s every sports fan’s dream to get a signature from their favorite player; just as it’s every social copywriter’s dream to write a real TVC. My dream became reality with “The Autograph Opportunity”. What began as a humble social video idea, presented as evergreen content to run during the season, became four different 30-second spots for broadcast and streaming that ran during the second half of the ‘25/’26 season.

Whether it’s a Rams or a Chargers game, when we’re at SoFi Stadium, we’re always the home team. Every NFL season, we activate in Inglewood, CA, to hype up football fans and get everyone at the tailgate pumped up for SoFi. As some of our most successful and anticipated content on Instagram, these videos have consistently boosted SoFi’s unaided brand awareness among diehard football fans year-over-year, helping SoFi organically establish itself as the unofficial bank of LA football fans.
